The project is expected to be awarded on June 23,2025.** the following project: 21ST Avenue Improvements Work scheduled to be performed on this Project shall include removal and replacement of curb and gutter, sidewalk, and driveways, adjustments, reconstructions of drainage structures, installation of new structures and drainage pipes, potential point repairs to sanitary sewer based on sewer televising, excavation of the existing roadway, installation of aggregate base, installation of hot-mix asphalt binder course, and hot-mix asphalt surface course, restoration of the parkways, and all other appurtenant work thereto. All bidders wishing to obtain bidding documents must be approved by the Village prior to obtaining bidding documents. All bid proposals offered must be accompanied by a bid bond, cashiers check, or certified check payable to the Village of Broadview in an amount which shall not be less than Five Percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted by the Village, a contract will be entered into with the Village. No bid proposal shall be considered unless accompanied by such a bid bond or check. No bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of the proposals without the consent of the President and the Board of Trustees of the Village of Broadview for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled time of closing bids. The Contractor and Subcontractor shall comply with all regulations issued pursuant to Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130), and other applicable Federal Laws and regulations pertaining to labor standards. The Contractor shall be required to furnish sufficient insurance or guaranty of indemnity to the Village of Broadview, Illinois, the County of Cook, Illinois, and the Engineer against any and all claims which might arise for damages to persons or property due to the negligence of the Contractor or Subcontractors, or their officers, agents, employees or servants, during the construction of said improvement and until the said improvement has been finally accepted as complete by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Broadview, Illinois.
