Renovation of a mixed-use development in St Jean Baptiste, Manitoba. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

1 All electrical work shall be conducted in accordance with applicable codes and standards. All electrical work shall be performed by qualified workmen. 2 Isolate all electrical and mechanical roof-top unit service lines within their own waterproofing doghouse curbs. Roof top unit service lines are to exit the vertical faces of curbs a minimum 200mm above the finished height of the new primary roof membrane. 3 The Province and Consultant are to be notified immediately if electrical conditions are found that do not meet applicable local, provincial or national standards or industry. .4 Install new C-port CE-Extension rubber equipment/service line supports complete with new Unistrut stands under all new and existing roof top service lines, cable trays and raised ductwork on new loose-laid SBS modified bitumen cap sheet protection pads. 5 Closely coordinate the temporary removal of all parapet wall-mounted equipment, conduit, junction boxes, lightning protection etc., with the Province to allow for the installation of the new roof assembly components. Note this is extremely sensitive equipment that must be in service at all times. Reinstall electrical components after installation of new roof assembly components are complete. 6 Lightning protection equipment is to be temporarily removed and reinstalled by a qualified person. The Province will request verification of qualification. It is recommended a sub-contractor be included during the pre-tender meeting to verify existing conditions and scope. 7 All electrical components shall be disconnected and reconnected in accordance with the current Canadian Electrical Code. A performance bond of a company registered to conduct the business of a surety in Manitoba, in the form attached to the tender documents, in the amount of fifty percent (50%); of the Contract Price; and A labour and materials payment bond of a company registered to conduct the business of surety in Manitoba, in the form attached to the tender documents, in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the Contract Price.
