Renovation of an educational facility in Highland, Utah. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

The purpose of this request for proposal is to enter into a contract with a licensed and qualified vendor(s) to complete the work described in this RFP related to installing new flooring at Lone Peak High School. It is anticipated that this RFP will result in a single contract award to the responsive and responsible offeror with the highest score justified by the procurement code. Question Deadline 05/16/2025 at 2:00 PM MT Online Portal The question and answer period close on the date and time specified on U3P. All questions must be submitted through U3P during the question and answer period. Answers from the State will be posted on U3P. Questions may include notifying the State of any ambiguity, inconsistency, scope exception, excessively restrictive requirement, or other errors in this solicitation The awarded vendor will install a variety of flooring types, including Modular Carpet Tiles, Broadloom, and hard surface flooring (Luxury Vinyl Tiles) at Loan Peak High School. Alpine School District will provide the flooring, awarded vendor is expected to provide adhesive and other installation materials. The work is expected to begin upon award of the contract. The selected vendor will work closely with ASD to create a project timeline coordinating with the school's summer schedule. The vendor is responsible for demolition and removal of flooring in designated areas. All debris must be hauled offsite and disposed of properly. Use of school dumpsters or on-site containers is prohibited. Installation is to be warranted for one full year from the date of installation. Installations are to be done in accordance to the specific carpet, and hard surface manufacturers recommendations. Once the work is started, it is to be accomplished in a timely manner as to not disrupt school activities. Installers will be responsible for transportation of the carpet and hard surface flooring to the job site from the owner's location or supplier's warehouse. Installation prices are to be for direct glue down application. Installers are to provide all labor and installation materials. The following is approximate estimates that should allow the vendor to determine cost for installation for the bid bond purposes. A 100% performance bond will be required form the awarded vendor.
