As of June 06, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded next week. Description: Clearing and grubbing, concrete walk removal, excavation and embankment, installation of new concrete sidewalk, seeding and mulching All construction must be completed by September 1, 2025. Should a question arise at any time during the examination of Bid Documents or investigation of the site, the Bidder may seek clarification by submitting a Pre-Bid Question to Engineer Ben Perkins, Engineering Associates, at ben.perkins@eaohio.com. Engineering Associates will provide a response to all questions submitted before a deadline of May 23, 2025, at 4:30 p.m. local time. Responses to Pre-Bid Questions will be provided by Addendum, a copy of which will be emailed or faxed to each person receiving a set of Bidding Documents. Engineering Associates is not obligated to respond to, or otherwise act upon, a Pre-Bid Question submitted after this deadline but reserves the right to act upon any information received. All bids must be accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of either: 1. A certified check or cashier's check made payable to the Medina County Commissioners or a letter of credit meeting the requirements of Chapter 1305 of the Ohio Revised Code, in an amount equal to 10 percent of the bid amount conditioned to provide that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will enter into a proper contract for the work: or 2. A Bid Guaranty and Performance Bond, for the full amount of the bid, written upon an acceptable surety company authorized to do business in the State of Ohio, conditioned as provided in Section 153.571 of the Ohio Revised Code. A form of this bond is included in the Project Manual. The bid will be awarded to the lowest and/or best bidder. The Medina County Commissioners and the Village of Lodi reserve the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities, and/or accept the bid deemed the lowest and the best.
