This project has a mandatory apprentice utilization requirement of 15% in accordance with City of RCW 39.04.320 and Redmond Municipal Code 15.28. All contractors must meet the requirements as stated in Section 1-07.9(3) of these special provisions. A monetary incentive will be paid to the contractor meeting the apprentice utilization requirement. A monetary penalty will be applied to the contractor failing to meet the utilization requirement and failing to demonstrate a Good Faith Effort.
