Responsibilities of the professional consultant firm for Engineering Services are anticipated to include the following: o Preliminary Engineering - Boundary and topographic survey of the project corridor, geotechnical explorations, and hydraulic/hydrologic analysis o Engineering Design - Develop construction plans, specifications, bid quantities, and engineering cost estimate(s) o Preparation of right-of-way acquisition exhibits and descriptions o Procurement services - Develop bid documents, conduct pre-bid conference(s), assist with bid solicitation, bid evaluations and recommendation of award o Permitting - Acquire necessary state and local permits The City of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, an Equal Opportunity, Affirmative Action Employer, seeks to retain the services of a professional engineering consulting firm to provide Engineering Design, Procurement, and Construction Administrations services related to the Extension of Springer Road from Mattoxtown Road to Little Shoal Creek in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The project involves approximately 0.85-miles of a new three-lane roadway with open ditch sections.
