Question Deadline 06/23/2025 Every request for such interpretation must be submitted in writing, and to be given consideration must be received no later than three (3) business days prior to the date fixed for the submission of bids. There are dollar limitations on the work that can be performed under this Contract. The work under this bid/contract is divided into two categories A) Planned projects (i.e. Category A work) see below for description of projects. These planned projects under Category A are the guaranteed work to be assigned to the Contractor under this contract subject to time completion requirements. See section "Time for Completion" below for details. B) On-call / emergency work (i.e., Category B work). All other miscellaneous work which arises due to either an emergency, or where a Leominster D.P.W. crew needs assistance from the Contractor on one of the D.P.W. projects, or small, unplanned projects that arise during the term of the contract that get assigned to the Contractor. For Category A work, the Contractor is allowed to work up to the contracted dollar limits for each project as calculated in the bid results. Additional work (i.e., higher dollar limit) is allowed under each project only in the event that unforeseen conditions are encountered once the work area is opened up. The Leominster D.P.W. must approve exceeding any individual project's dollar limit under this category of work; all such approvals will be issued to the Contractor in writing via a Change Order to the contract issued by the Purchasing Agent. For Category B work, no individual miscellaneous on-call / emergency project under this contract is to exceed $99,975.00 in total cost. Any project that is estimated by the Leominster D.P.W. to exceed this dollar limit will be bid out separately by the City under a different contract.
