The Town of Lancaster invites sealed proposals from qualified plaster and painting contractors for the restoration of the historic ceiling in the Children's Room at the Thayer Memorial Library, 717 Main Street, Lancaster, MA. The work includes protection of existing finishes and furnishings, plaster patching, and preparation, priming, and painting of the ceiling This project is subject to the provisions of M.G.L. c. 30, 39M. General bidders must demonstrate experience in plaster restoration and painting of historic properties. The Town of Lancaster reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive minor informalities, and award the contract in the best interest of the Town.
