As of July 2, 2025, No Award, Anticipated award at the July 8th County Council Meeting The Scope of Work in general includes the construction of approximately 605 linear feet of stone sill; construction of approximately 9,550 square feet of sand fill with marsh plantings; approximately 37,540 square feet of coastal dune with plantings; approximately 7,000 square feet of non-tidal wetland creation; approximately 96,900 square feet of meadow seeding; installation of tide valve, installation of an inlet grate and 66 linear feet of pipe, and all other interim and restorative tasks necessary to complete the work in its entirety, including final seeding and stabilization for disturbed areas, and final site cleanup as described in the project construction drawings and specifications Bid security shall be furnished as stipulated in the project Specifications, Information for Bidders. Funding for the project will be from the State of Maryland Department of Natural Resources and the National Fish & Wildlife Foundation. State of Maryland Prevailing Wage Rates apply to this project. The County Council of Talbot County, Maryland reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to accept any bid, alternate, or any portions thereof when, in their judgment, the public will be better served.
