The project consists of de-silting approximately 34,000 linear feet of drainage channel including excavation, spreading and compacting material on site and hauling off excess spoils, removing trees and other invasive vegetation, trash, and debris from the channels, replacing four (4) outfall pipes, regrading areas where significant erosion has occurred, replacing existing rip-rap in four (4) areas, repairing two (2) areas of slope paving, and repairing the concrete weir structure in the Main Branch. There is also approximately 1000 LF along the Central Branch of slope repairs by installing gabions For construction contracts $50,000 and over but less than $250,000, the bidder shall submit a certified or cashier's check on a responsible bank in the State equal to two percent (2%) cashier's check or five percent (5%) bid bond of the maximum total bid amount. For construction contracts over $250,000, the bidder shall submit either a two percent (2%) certified or cashier's check or a five percent (5%) bid bond of the maximum total bid amount. Make the cashier's check or bid bonds payable to the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any or all irregularities.
