Renovation of an educational facility in Wayne, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Wayne County Board of Education invites qualified contractors to submit sealed bids for a Roof Replacement Project for Wayne High School Athletic Buildings. This is a county funded project. There is a mandatory pre-bid meeting. If the contractor neglects to sign the sign in sheet they will not be eligible to quote the project. All bidding contractors are required to utilize local labor pursuant to Chapter 21 - Article 1C, the West Virginia Jobs Act The use of tobacco products, alcoholic beverages, and other controlled substances on the project site or within the owners property limits is not permitted as required by WV state law. 100% performance bond for the successful contractor. Certified payrolls will be required with all pay applications including the following: 1. Name of the project and project location 2. Work week end date 3. Names of employees 4. The county and state where the employees reside 5. The employees occupations or job title 6. Identification of salaried, supervisory personnel 7. The days/hours that employee worked 8. Gross pay 9. Federal and state withholdings The contractor is responsible for all permits, licensing, and B&O Tax Background checks will be required for all employees on the construction site Question Deadline 05/30/2025 All questions are to be submitted by e mail to Matt Stanley at lmstanle@k12.wv.us
