Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Montreal, Quebec. Design plans call for the construction of a 10,800-square-foot, one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and swimming pool.
The project involves the construction of an aquatic area including an active pool, a recreational pool and a paddling pool dedicated to younger children. A constructed beach will ensure safe circulation for lifeguards and bathers while offering users a setting conducive to relaxation and conformity. A green space, equipped with tables and shaded areas will complete the outdoor layout of the pools. In addition, a new 600 m2 bathing pavilion accessible during the summer season, as well as an area open all year round for the benefit of park users will be built. The scope of work also includes the construction of a 400 m2 technical building for the equipment serving the pool. TIMELINE: Following the Request for proposals 25-20993/20070438 the owner has awarded a team of professional consultants for design and construction work monitoring. Preliminary studies and conceptual planning are underway. Preliminary plans are expected to begin in in summer 2026. Timelines of further project development are being finalized.
