The Project consists of roadway improvements throughout Hopewell Township. The base bid includes 9 roads throughout the Township, with improvements including a combination of milling, surface treatment, base repair, and overlay. The alternate bid projects, if awarded, consist of 4 additional roads and all associated work, as well as 2 parking lots and associated line painting. Additional bidding requirements are found in Section 00 21 13, "Instructions to Bidders", of the Bidding Documents. All bidders must submit bid security of a Certified Check or Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the Base Bid. All bids shall be irrevocable for 60 days after the bid opening date as provided by the Act of November 26, 1978 (P.L. 1309, No. 317), as amended by the Act of December 12, 1994 (P.L. 1042, No. 142).
