Description

Demolition, site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Longview, Texas. Working plans call for the construction of a 3,923-square-foot municipal facility.

As of November 13, 2025, construction has not started. This project went over budget. Initially, this was going to be a remodel project. But now they are going to demolish the building and perform new construction. The plans are being redesigned and should be ready by the end of this year or early January 2026. This will go out to bid for a general contractor most likely in February 2026. The original scope was going to be to remodel existing 3,498 sf building with addition on the North and South side 3,923 sf. Existing building will consist of removing all interior walls, etc. leaving structural columns, main structure and electrical service to remain.
