**As of August 12, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded October 6th, 2025.** The work will consist of constructing a new water transmission main and new sanitary sewer force main for the Town of Mooresville (Owner). Area 1 consists of approximately 1.5 miles of 16-inch water main. The proposed water main will run along Mazeppa Road, generally paralleling an existing 12-inch water main, approximately 1.5 miles from the intersection with Highway 115 to the intersection with Penske Way. Area 2 includes the abandonment of an existing 12-inch force main and re-routing its discharge location. The replacement will re-route the force main to a newly constructed (by others) gravity outfall with a new tie in manhole. The re-routed force main will be increased in size from the existing 12-inch to 16-inches. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bidsshall be on a lump sum or unit price basis asindicated in the Bid Form. Documents may be obtained for a purchase price as listed on their website. All payments are to be made to Duncan Parnell. Prospective Bidders must purchase Bidding Documents directly through Duncan Parnell in order to be considered an official plan holder. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
