Site work and paving for a road / highway in Clarkesville, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

**As of August 15, 2025, the project was awarded to Pittman Construction Company, with an awarded amount of $2,206,777.07.** Project consists of placement of asphalt plant mix inclusive of the following: Milling, patching, leveling, resurfacing and striping of thirty-eight (38) various county roads in Habersham County, Georgia for a total length of 14.23 miles. All bids submitted should be clearly marked on the envelope or package "Habersham County Public Works Department, Project No. LMIG 2025-26931." COMPLETION DATE: Friday, October 24, 2025. Plans (if any) and Specifications for this work will be available for inspection by all interested parties at the Habersham County Commission Office during regular business hours. All work shall be performed in accordance with Plans, if any, Project Special Provisions and the 2024 edition of the Georgia Department of Transportation Standard Specifications and applicable Supplemental Specifications. No bid proposals shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 days. Payment will be made to the Contractor each calendar month based on the estimated work complete in place as prescribed by the Georgia Department of Transportation Standard Specifications. Retainage will be withheld as prescribed by the Project Special Provisions. Final payment of the amounts withheld will not be made until the project has been satisfactorily completed and accepted by Habersham County. A bid bond in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid will be required. Also, performance and payment bonds each in the sum equal to the full amount of the contract will be required. Habersham County reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive minor informalities, modify or re-advertise the project. Habersham County, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and the Americans with Disabilities Act hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, sex, handicap/ disability in consideration of an award. Asphaltic Concrete Milling, Patching, Leveling, Resurfacing and Striping of 14.30 miles ofthirty-six (36) various county roads located throughout Habersham County. In addition, we have included the resurfacing of River St. in the Town of Tallulah Falls. This work includes constructing one or more courses of bituminous plant mixture on the preparedfoundationorexisting roadway surface. The mixture shall conform with lines, grades, thicknesses, and typical crosssectionsshown on the Plans or established by the Engineer. This section includes the requirements for all bituminous plant mixtures regardless of thegradationof theaggregates, type and amount of bituminous material, or pavement use. This work includes constructing a bituminous plant produced Asphaltic Concrete Open Graded Crack ReliefInterlayer (OG1) over the existing roadway surface. The mixture shall serve as asphaltic concrete leveling over irregular surfaces and provide mitigation for reflective cracking prior to the placement ofthe final surface pavement. The mixture shall conform to the lines, grades, thicknesses, typical sections and cross sections shown on the Plans or established by the Engineer. This section includes the requirements for Asphaltic Concrete Open Graded Crack ReliefInterlayer mixtures regardless ofthe gradation ofthe aggregates, type and amount of bituminous material, or pavement use. Follow the requirements in Section 400, Section 402 and Section 828 for production and placement, materials, equipment, and acceptance plans except as noted or modified in this Specification. Acceptance ofwork is on a lot-to-lot basis according to the requirements ofthis Section, Section 400, Section 402 and Section 106
