Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Vergas, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Each Bid must be accompanied by a certified check or a bidder's bond acceptable to the Owner in an amount of at least five (5%) percent of the total amount of the bid, payable without condition to the Owner. If the successful Bidder fails to enter into a contract or to give bond as required by law within the specified number of days after the award of the contract; certified check or bidder's bond shall be forfeited as liquidated damages. Description: Major Contract items include the following approximate quantities: Remove Bituminous Pavement 2,175 SY Excavation - Common 1,120 SY Aggregate Base (CV) Class 5 670 CY Type SP 12.5 Wearing Course Mix (3,C) 585 TON 12" RC Pipe Sewer Design 3006 Class III 75 LF Construct Drainage Structure Design G 10.0 LF 6" Concrete Driveway Pavement 305 SY Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to the Engineer in writing. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
