Project Title: Construct Solar Array PROJECT NO: FDC-507-10362 Location: GREENWOOD FURNACE STATE PARK, HUNTINGDON COUNTY, JACKSON General Contract Requirements: 1. The work under this project consists of providing and installing: a. A ground mounted, grid connected, solar array system that is interconnected on the load side of the electric meter providing a virtual net billing scheme (i.e. meter aggregation) at the Greenwood Furnace State Park & Rothrock State Forest Complex serving as the "Host" account and the remainder of the Complex's electric accounts serving as the "Parasite" accounts. The ground mounted array shall be installed in the open fenced-in field in front of Rothrock State Forest Greenwood Maintenance Headquarters along Greenwood Road(Route 305) with an approximate solar array system DC rating of 124.16kW utilizing single phase inverters and monocrystalline half-cut cell solar modules. The combined maximum allowable gross generator AC power output capacity of the solar array system shall be 100kW based on the 124.16kW DC rating resulting in a DC-to-AC ratio of 1.24. An acceptable DC-to-AC ratio range of 1.1 to 1.35 shall be achieved under this project. 2. The limits of work and requirements of the contract shall be as specified herein and as indicated on the contract drawings. 3. Work performed under the contract shall include, but is not necessarily limited to, the furnishing of all labor, superintendence, materials, tools and equipment, testing, commissioning, miscellaneous items and performing all work necessary to complete all construction to the satisfaction of, and subject to the approval of, the Department. 4. All construction work shown on the contract drawings and not expressly mentioned in the specifications, and all work specified and not shown on the contract drawings but obviously necessary for the proper execution of same shall be performed by the Contractor. It is expressly intended that the work of this contract shall provide complete and fully functional solar array system finished in every aspect and detail as would be considered industry standards, as it is not the intent to delineate or describe every detail and feature of the work. No additions to the contract sum will be approved for any materials, equipment and/or labor to perform work hereunder unless it can be clearly shown to be beyond the scope and intent of the drawings and specifications, and absolutely essential to the proper execution of the work. A. GREENWOOD STATE PARK (State Park Region No. 3) & ROTHROCK STATE FOREST GREENWOOD FURNACE MAINTENANCE HEADQUARTERS (Forest District No. 5): 1. This ground mounted solar array installation shall include all electrical and solar related work as depicted and defined in these specifications and on the contract drawings. Main items of work consist essentially of, but are not limited to the following: a. Ground mounted rack assemblies including beam pile (direct embedment) type foundations and structural racking systems. b. Solar array system including modules, string inverters, and cellular solar production web-based monitoring system installation, hookup, testing and commissioning. c. Site work including excavation, trenching, backfilling, finish grading, seeding and mulching related to underground primary & secondary electrical duct banks and Kiosk construction work. d. Electrical systems including primary and secondary AC distribution circuits, related AC and DC solar array circuits, electrical equipment, and construction of a solar array Kiosk for equipment mounting. e. Construction of utility service entrance equipment area with electric utility pad mounted transformer with fiberglass base and related bi-directional meter. f. Grid-tie and interconnect solar array system to the primary utility service overhead 7.2kV single phase distribution lines. g. Solar array system commissioning, start-up, testing, training, and demonstration of accessing the cellular solar production web-based monitoring system. h. Installation of electrical and solar equipment (Inverters, Communications Cabinet, Panelboard, and Disconnect Switch) on electrical kiosk located adjacent to utility service entrance equipment area. i. Finish grading and reseeding of solar array field and all disturbed and excavated areas.
