Professional Services for Bridge & Structures On-Call Program - Structural Preservation Office Engineering & Program Support. The Scope of Service(s) may include but are not limited to: Contract Development and Procurement Support, Develop contracts and specifications for bid and procurement, Provide bid analysis, Maintain standard library items and cost data, Track and monitor work scopes and tasks under current and future Bridge and Structures On-Call Program Projects, Monitor budget and schedule, Provide ICE's and participate in change management/negotiations, Development of supplemental specifications, Permitting (if required), Construction Phase Services - submittal, RFI and as needed office engineering, Developmental of standard details and coordination of current MBTA Standards, Assistance in contract management as required including (procurement, bid phase, progress of work and closeout) and Constructability reviews as requested and required. The duration of this contract is 3 years from the date of Notice to Proceed, with two (2) option periods of one (1) year each. This project is expected to utilize Federal and non-federal funding. The DBE participation goal for this project is twenty-two percent (22%) of the total amount authorized. In addition, the Authority strongly encourages the use of Minority, Women and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises as prime consultants, sub-consultants and suppliers in all of its contracting opportunities. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
