Demolition, site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Boston, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility; for the demolition of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Removal of an existing steam boiler including abatement, along with associated MEP/FP connections for gas, water, back-up fuel source, exhaust and associated access platforms. New work will include the installation of a new 110,000BTU steam boiler and all associated enabling work, reconfiguration of back up fuel source pumps & piping, replacement of foam fire protections system for fuel storage, installation of new mezzanine platform access, integration of controls for the plant, condensate tank removal and replacement, and demolition of miscellaneous not in service equipment. Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. This Contract has a combined MBE/WBE goal of 1.5%. The work may be performed by any combination of MBEs and WBEs.
