2025 Community Crossings Project Elm Street, Jon Street, Hancz Street, and Front Street Pavement Improvement Project the Project Includes Hma Mill and Overlay of West Elm Street, Jon Street, and Hanz Street. Additional Improvements Include Replacement of Storm Sewer Infrastructure, Concrete Curb and Gutter, Sidewalk, Drive Approaches, and Ada Curb Ramps. The Project Also Includes Hma Mill and Overlay of Front Street With Full-depth Hma Patching at Specified Locations. The Project Contains Other Miscellaneous Items (I.e., All Labor, Services, Materials, Insurance, Equipment) to Complete the Stated Work. This project shall be substantially completed within (127) calendar days (November 3, 2025) and finally completed within one-hundred and sixteen (144) calendar days (November 20, 2025) from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Bids shall be properly and completely executed on the bid proposal form provided, accompanied by a Non-Collusion Affidavit and a Certified Check of Bid Bond payable to the Owner in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the bid. Each bid shall include a Non-Discrimination Compliance and all other required forms as described in the bidding documents. The bidder awarded the contract will be required to furnish a separate Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred twenty-five percent (125%) of the contract price before commencing work. The Performance Bond and Payment Bond shall remain in effect throughout the entire construction period. In addition, a Maintenance Bond in the amount of 10% for a period of three (3) years from the date of final acceptance of the work will be required. The Town Council of the Town of New Carlisle, Indiana reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any irregularities in bidding, to accept a full or partial award of the Bid or Bids which, in its judgment, will be in the best interest of the Town of New Carlisle. No bids or bid security may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for at least sixty (60) days.
