Site work for a water / sewer project in New Carlisle, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

he project includes removal of the existing metering station and adjacent force main sections, diversion of the existing force main, installation of a new metering station and electrical components, and all appurtenant manholes, pipe bends, and sanitary sewer pipe work to connect the metering station back to the active sanitary sewer at the project terminus. Additional improvements include replacement of a storm sewer culvert crossing the ditch south of the proposed metering station. The project contains other miscellaneous items (i.e., all labor, services, materials, insurance, equipment) to complete the stated work. This project shall be substantially completed by November 1, 2025, with final completion by December 1, 2025. Bids shall be properly and completely executed on the bid proposal form provided, accompanied by a Non-Collusion Affidavit and a Certified Check of Bid Bond payable to the Owner in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the bid. Each bid shall include a Non-Discrimination Compliance and all other required forms as described in the bidding documents. The bidder awarded the contract will be required to furnish a separate Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred twenty-five percent (125%) of the contract price before commencing work. The Performance Bond and Payment Bond shall remain in effect throughout the entire construction period. In addition, a Maintenance Bond in an amount of 10% for a period of three (3) years from the date of final acceptance of the work will be required. The Town Council of the Town of New Carlisle, Indiana reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any irregularities in bidding, to accept a full or partial award of the Bid or Bids which, in its judgment, will be in the best interest of the Town of New Carlisle. No bids or bid security may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for at least sixty (60) days.
