The work is to remove window systems, perimeter caulk from interior and exterior door systems and drywall with trace asbestos joint compound. The Date of Commencement is June 23, 2025. The Date of Substantial Completion is June 27, 2025. THE WORK OF THE PROJECT: Base Bid: Remove three window systems with asbestos-containing glazing (approximately 30 square feet) from boiler room 155 and girl’s restroom 147 from the building exterior utilizing NESHAP removal methods. Remove asbestos-containing perimeter caulk (less than 3 square feet) from interior and exterior door systems at entries E1, S1, S2 and W1 under the School’s Operations & Maintenance Program. Remove drywall with trace asbestos joint compound (approximately 700 square feet) from classrooms 144, 145, 149 and 150.
