Governing Board ("Board") of the Live Oak School District (District) will receive sealed bids for the following project, Re-Roofing of the New District Office (the "Contract" or "Project") at 1777 Capitola Avenue, Santa Cruz CA 95062 (the "Site") As per scope description included in the Information to Bidders and Contract Documents. To bid on this Project, the Bidder is required to possess one or more of the following State of California contractors' license(s): A, B, and/or C-39. The Bidder's license(s) must remain active and in good standing throughout the term of the Contract. To bid on this Project, the Bidder is required to be registered as a public works contractor with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to the Labor Code Scope of Work: Live Oak School District 1. Remove roofing to the structural deck and properly dispose of. 2. Replace any damaged, or dry rot wood 'like in kind'. 3. Demo vents, hoods, gutters, pipe jacks, downspouts, flashings, conduit sleepers etc, and replace. 4. Remove existing Skylights and replace with new same size as existing framing. 5. Install new gutters, downspouts out of .040 Aluminum 6. Tack nail HPR Glasbase to wood deck over low slope roof sections. 7. Mechanically fasten new 1/2 " gypsum cover board per wind uplift calculations. 8. Raise all curbs and penetrations 8" above finished roofing surface. Contactor is responsible for electrical connections. 9. Install Stressbase 120 in Green Lock Membrane adhesive at 2.5 gal/sq. 10.Install KEE Stone 60 mil FB with spatter spray to roof field at 24 sqs/case. 10.Install Stressbase 80 Premium in Green Lock Flashing Adhesive at 5 gal/sq. 11. Install KEE Stone NF flashing roll in KEE Lock WB Flashing Adhesive at 1.5 gal/sq. 12. Install new Dura Block conduit sleepers throughout. 13. Install new gutter screens on all gutters. This Project is subject to labor compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code sections 1770 and 1771.4 and subject to the requirements of Title 8 of the California Code of Regulations. The successful Bidder shall comply with all requirements of Division 2, Part 7, Chapter 1, Articles 1-5 of the Labor Code. The District shall award the Contract, if it awards it at all, to the lowest responsive responsible bidder based on base bid amount only. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive any irregularity in any bid received. If the District awards the Contract, the security of unsuccessful bidder(s) shall be returned within sixty (60) days of the time the award is made. Unless otherwise required by law, no bidder may withdraw its bid for ninety (90) days after the date of the bid opening.
