**As of July 2, 2025, the project was awarded to True North Civil, LLC, with an awarded amount of $139,982.10.** Reference Number 0000386767 Question Deadline 05/23/2025 at 4:30 PM ET Questions are to be submitted to Purchasing/Finance tmcdavitt@northkingstown.org There will be no site visits scheduled after Friday, May 23rd, 2025. An Addendum, if necessary, will be posted NO LATER than Friday, May 30th, 2025 at 10:00 am answering any questions submitted at the site visits and/or email. A certificate of Insurance showing $1 million General Liability and $1 million Any Auto, with the Town being named as an additional insured, Worker's Compensation, with a waiver of subrogation will be required of the successful bidder. The Town of North Kingstown reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or parts thereof; to waive any formality in same, or accept any proposal deemed to be in the best interest of the Town. DESCRIPTION: A. Location: The Work locations include, but are not limited to, locations on the following streets and as shown on the Plans in the Town of North Kingstown. o Tower Hill Road o Yorktown Road o Lake Drive o Nichols Road o Harrington Road B. Work Included: The Work includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Lead Service Line Replacement: a. 1-inch polyethylene water service (or to match existing) b. Stainless Steet Saddle with corporation stop installed via wet tap c. Curb stop with valve box d. Disinfection of water service and appurtenances e. Connection to existing water meter in basement of house or connection to and installation of new meter inside basement of house (meter to be provided by Town) f. Removal and disposal or abandonment of existing water service, valves and services. g. Temporary water service system and laterals 2. Testing of water mains for proper installation and performance. 3. All related work including interior plumbing, trench excavation, possible foundation coring and repairs, disposal of excess excavated materials, filter fabric, bedding, backfill, compaction, road/drive subbase, paving, loam/seed and landscaping. 4. Other miscellaneous work shown in the Specifications for a complete and operational systemRemovals, Relocations and Rearrangements 1. Examine the existing site for the work of all trades which will influence the cost of the work under the bid. This work shall include removals, relocations and rearrangements which may interfere with, disturb or complicate the performance of the work under the general bid involving systems, equipment and related service lines, which shall continue to be utilized as part of the finished project. The Contractor is responsible for all coordination in this regard. 2. Provide in the bid a sufficient amount to include all removals, relocations, rearrangements and reconnections herein specified, necessary or required to provide approved operation and coordination of the combined new and existing systems and equipment.
