Site Work for Sidewalk and Street Improvements at 345 Mclean Ave Reference Number 0000387636 Site work for proposed senior residences to include sidewalk and street improvements at 345 McLean Avenue, Yonkers, NY The Housing Implementation Fund (HIF) construction contract for the infrastructure component of the 345 McLean Avenue Senior Residences at 345 McLean Avenue in Yonkers, includes the work opposite to the proposed building in the Section 1, Block 58, Lot 28,31 and 32 parcel in Yonkers. These improvements include driveways, sidewalks, utilities, lighting, and site furnishings. The proposed building on this lot will be constructed under separate contract. The project also includes an offsite component of work, including mill and overlay asphalt, full depth asphalt replacement, sidewalk replacement and additions, signage, and landscape and lighting work. The Bureau of Public Work & Prevailing Wage Enforcement at the New York State Department of Labor is responsible for enforcing prevailing wage laws in New York State. For such purpose, the subcontract may provide that the Contractor may retain not more than five percent (5%) of each payment to such Subcontractor or not more than ten percent (10%) of each such payment if prior to entering into the subcontract such Subcontractor is unable or unwilling to provide, at the request of the Contractor, a performance bond and a labor and material bond both in the amount of the subcontract.
