Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Big Timber, Montana. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The project consists of the replacement of the Flemming Bridge located approximately 21 miles south of McLeod, Sweet Grass County, MT. The new bridge will replace the existing single lane, three-span, steel truss with timber approach span structure on Main Boulder Road over Boulder River. The proposed 118-foot single-span bridge will be constructed of precast prestressed concrete Bulb-Tee beams on a driven pile foundation. Improvements consist of, but are not limited to: structure excavation, supply and installation of random riprap, supply and drive steel pile, construction of cast-in-place concrete pile caps, wingwalls & end diaphragms, installation of bridge superstructure, supply and installation of bridge rail, approach guardrail, and other miscellaneous items.
