Purchasing Contact: Stephanie Jaeger, Purchasing Administrator (810) 767-4920 ext. 271 The Genesee County Road Commission is soliciting bids to furnish all labor, equipment materials and supplies necessary for the performance of work described herein and meet operational standards unless otherwise specified. Working hours will be Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Crews must make work areas safe and secure at the end of each working day. Bidder understands and agrees that all necessary permits, licenses and insurance must be obtained and that all applicable federal, state and local codes, laws and regulations must be complied with. The Genesee County Road Commission reserves the right to reject or accept any or all proposals, in whole or in part, and waive any irregularities or formalities therein. The Work is more specifically described as: Fire Alarm Controller Upgrade for Elevator Recall & NFPA Code Compliance. All notification appliances are to be changed with new appliances to allow building wide fire-alarm synchronization. o Furnish & replace (1) fire alarm control panel with new hybrid zoned/addressable Simplex fire alarm control unit. o Furnish and install (1) fire alarm document box per NFPA code. o Change devices only to synchronize notification. Reuse existing notification circuits and device locations. o Furnish and install up to (3) new fire alarm addressable relay modules for elevator recall. o Furnish and install (5) new local addressable smoke detectors in elevator lobby and elevator maintenance room. o Reuse existing initiating devices and circuits except as noted for elevator recall. o Provide technical labor for system programming and configuration. o Provide technical labor to turn on and test all systems for proper operation. o Provide engineering /design labor to produce AutoCAD Shop drawings and equipment submittals. o Perform commissioning and acceptance testing with authority having jurisdiction. o Project close-out documentation. GCRC will furnish network connections as required & 120V AC power. PRICING/DELIVERY: All items should be priced - FOB Destination Full Freight Allowed, inside delivery. The Genesee County Road Commission will not pay for any additional transportation and/or shipping charges. No charges may be billed to the Genesee County Road Commission unless such costs were explicitly included in the bid. Bidder will incur any costs not explicitly included in the bid and/or mutually agreed to in writing by the Genesee County Road Commission Purchasing Department. The Genesee County Road Commission reserves the right to accept or reject any/all of the price redeterminations as it deems to be in the best interest of the Road Commission. If rejected, either party may terminate the contract in accordance with the provisions of TERMINATION OF CONTRACT as included herein.
