Demolition and site work for a water / sewer project in Wilmington, Delaware. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The 11th Street Screen Replacement Project includes demolition of all existing influent screens (coarse and fine) and associated conveyor equipment, elevated platforms, and providing new screening equipment. New equipment to be provided includes two coarse screens, motors, elevated platforms for screen and motor access, new HVAC equipment, and associated electrical equipment. This project is funded by the Delaware Water Pollution Control Revolving Loan Fund: therefore, bidders and the successful contractor must comply with the related Program Requirements. Bidders must follow the "Good Faith Efforts" in providing opportunities to Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) in preparation of their bids and procurement of construction, supplies, and services. This project is subject to State of Delaware Prevailing Wage Rates regulations and the Davis Bacon Wage Rates, whichever is higher. Bidders must also comply with American Iron and Steel (AIS) requirements. A bid bond in the amount of 10% of the total bid is required to be submitted with the bid on this contract
