The Town of Franzen is soliciting chip seal and wedging of the following roads: West of intersection of State HWY 49/Bobsiding Rd, west from Hwy 49 to termination (approximately 2.3 miles).Description of work: The work will consist of seal coating, all necessary patching and repaving/paving of the roadslisted. Each bid should be separate for each road mentioned. Each bidder is required to state in its proposal the bidder's name, place of business and references. The bidder is expected to carefully examine the proposed work area and to be thoroughly familiar with the details and all conditions likely to be encountered that will affect the cost and scheduling of the work before submitting a bid proposal. The Submission of a bid is considered evidence that the bidder has examined the worksite and is satisfied as to the conditions to be encountered in performing the work requirement of the job. Form of Contract: The successful bidder shall be required to sign a contract with the Town, no later than ten (10) days after the opening of bids. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the above scheduled time for the opening of the bids. Any bid received after the dates specified shall not be considered. The TOWN reserved the right to accept or reject any or all submissions, to waive any or all formalities in the bidding, to evaluate all bids, to investigate the references of any or all bidders, to negotiate with one or all bidders and otherwise to act as it deems to be in the best interest of the TOWN.
