The City of Bristol, Tennessee is requesting sealed bids on bituminous paving that will meet the specifications as listed below. Bid price shall include placement of a "Tack Coat" prior to installation of surface paving or a "Prime Coat" prior to installation of base paving. Anticipated Award July 8, 2025 ITB Questions submittal deadline June 12, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. All written questions related to this bid should be emailed to purchasing@bristoltn.org. No phone call questions will be accepted. Answers to questions will be posted on the city website as an addendum to this bid. Responses to questions by June 13, 2025 at 5p.m. A bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount must accompany each proposal by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond to the City of Bristol, TN. The successful Vendor shall furnish approved Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the bid amount. Successful vendors are required to comply with the City of Bristol, TN insurance requirements. This contract is for a one-year period from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026. Should both parties be in agreement, the contract may be renewed on an annual basis in one (1) year increments up to a total three (3) years if all terms, conditions, and prices (subject to escalation/de-escalation) remain unchanged. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids received and to waive informalities on all or any part of any bid which may be deemed to be in the best interests of the City.
