This Project Will Replace the Emergency Generators at Wells One and Two. Additionally, the Existing Building at Well One Will Be Removed and Replaced. The Project is to Be Financed Through the Community Deve lopment Block Grant Program-disaster Recovery (Cdbg-dr Deo Agreement No M0167) Administered by the State of Florida Department of Economic Opportunity. Any Questions in Regard to the Bid Documents Shall Be Emailed to Alicia Corder at Townhall@townofgreenwoodfl.org. The Deadline for Questions is Thursday, July 24 2025. A Performance Bond in the Amount of 100% and a Labor and Material Payment Bond in the Amount of 100% Will Be Required of the Successful Bidder. A Bid Bond Payable to the Town of Greenwood for an Amount Not Less Than Five Percent (5%) of the Amount of the Bid Shall Be Filed With the Proposal. The Bid Bond Prepared on the Forms Specified and Signed by a Bonding Company Authorized to Do Business in the State of Florida. Bidders Shall Be Contractors Who Are Normally Engaged in Construction and Shall Be Licensed as May Be Required Under Existing Federal, State, and County Laws. Where Licensing by Examination by the Town of Greenwood or Jackson County is Required, Such Licenses Shall Be Obtained Prior to Bidding. Only Bids From Qualified Contractors Will Be Considered. No Bid Shall Be Withdrawn for a Period of Sixty (60) Days After Scheduled Time for the Receipt of Bids. The Owner Reserves the Right to Waive Any or All Irregularities and Informalities and to Reject Any or All Bids.
