his project, in coordination with the Ohio Department of Transportation and their Safe Routes to School program, includes a pedestrian crossing improvement at the intersection of Muirfield Dr and Sells Mill Dr/Mojave St. The improvements include a pedestrian hybrid beacon, intersection lighting, ADA compliant curb ramps, and a new sidewalk from Muirfield Dr to Scottish Corners Elementary School. Estimated Completion Date: Interim completion is the construction of all roadway related items including final pavement markings, sidewalks, and curb modifications by August 12, 2025. Final completion includes the installation of the pedestrian hybrid beacon on or before March 2, 2026. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal a Bid Guaranty in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a surety company or corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. The Project owner is the City of Dublin, OHIO. The Owner’s Representative is Paul A. Hammersmith, P.E., Director of Engineering. All questions or request for information shall be submitted through Bid Express. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will to the extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services and labor in the implementation of their project. Payment of Prevailing Wages is required for this Project. The City of Dublin reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding process and to enter into a contract with the bidder whom, in its opinion, offers the lowest and best bid.
