Question Deadline 05/30/2025 Questions must be received at least ten (10) days prior to the BID opening date. The City of Ruston Will Receive Sealed Bids for Tarbutton Water and Sewer Improvements. All bids must be accompanied by bid security equal to five percent (5%) of the sum of the Base Bid, and must be in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or Bid Bond written by a surety or insurance company complying with R.S. 38:2218 C. The Bid Bond shall be in the favor of the Owner and shall be accompanied by appropriate power of attorney. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract amount, written by a surety or insurance company meeting the requirements noted in R.S. 38:2219 A. (1)(a), (b) and (c). No bidder may withdraw his/her bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids for just cause; such actions will be in accordance with Title 38:2214(A)(B) of the Louisiana Revised Statutes Doc Notes: Deposit on the first set is fully refundable to all bona fide prime Bidders upon return of the documents, in good condition, no later than ten (10) days after receipt of bids. On other sets of documents furnished to Bidders, the deposit less actual cost of reproduction will be returned upon return of the documents, in good condition, no later than ten (10) days after receipt of bids.
