17 Main Street Roof Replacement The Village reserves the right to reject, in it's sole discretion, any apparent low bid on the ground that the bidder is not a responsible bidder, based on objective criteria, including but not limited to proper capabilities, experience, equipment, qualifications and other factors. The Village reserves the right to reject any and all bids if, in its' opinion, such action is in the best interest of The Village. Item #1 is for the removal and disposal of approximately 3,000 Square feet of shingle roof on a Village owned building located at 17 Main Street in the Village of Saranac Lake. Bidder will be responsible for daily site cleaning of all debris, nails or other materials associated with the removal of the roof. Item #2 is for the installation of approximately 3,000 square feet of Owens Corning Duration shingles or equivalent. Bidder will be responsible for the installation meeting, or exceeding manufacturer's recommended guidelines. All materials installed will meet or exceed governing code requirements, and fastener placement shall comply with spacing and orientation. Item #3 is for the preparation and installation of +/- 7" of closed cell spray foam in the attic space to achieve a R49 installation Value. Bidder will be responsible for supplying all materials for the installation.
