Redevelopment project at the Peel Integrated Waste Management Facility (PIWMF) (7795 Torbram Rd, Brampton) and the Peel Curing Facility (PCF) (4400 King St, Caledon). Scope at PIWMF includes: removal of existing primary composting facility infrastructure; repairs to the WTS push wall; installation of shredders to improve future payloads; and redevelopment of the WTS and primary composting facility areas to increase waste transfer capacity. Scope at PCF includes: removal of Gore composting system components; regrading and expansion of the composting pads; replacement of the power supply to the screening building to facilitate windrow composting of up to 35,000 tonner per year of shredded LYW. TIMELINE: Request for Proposal for engineering services has been awarded. Project is in preliminary design stages. Further update may be available spring 2026.
