Site work for a mixed-use development in Columbia, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The Columbia Public School (District) is seeking bids to recoat the track at Hickman High School. For inquiries or questions about the bid or specifications, please contact the following: 1. Bid procedures and format - Ms. Lisa Ozanich, Assistant Purchasing Agent Email: lozanich@cpsk12.org All bids shall include a 5% bid bond. Any bids submitted without a bid bond will be disqualified and not considered for award. A copy of bid bond will be accepted with electronic submittal. The low qualified bidder will have 48 hours to get the original to the District upon request All nonconforming bids will be disqualified and not considered for award. All contracts exceeding $50,000 shall have a Performance and Payment Bond Liquidated damages are set at $250 per day Award of this bid is planned for July 14, 2025. Anticipated Start Date -July 15, 2025 Anticipated Completion Date-August 13, 2025. All bids must be valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the opening of bids. The contractor shall be responsible for all labor, materials, and equipment to provide the following: 1. Apply a structural spray for the recoating of the existing running track surface. 2. The structural spray shall include the following items: a. The 8-lane running surface across the front straight away, including all chutes. b. The 6-lane running surface across the remaining portions of the track. c. The existing long jump runway. d. The existing pole vault runway. e. The existing high jump runway. 3. Structural spray shall be applied in in two applications consisting of 1.8 pounds per square yard per application (for a total of 3.6 pounds per square yard). 4. Structural spray applications shall be applied in opposing directions during installation. 5. Existing surface shall be cleaned and prime coated prior to spray application. 6. Contractor shall include repair of any existing track surface in their base bid. 7. Contractor shall be responsible for the covering and preservation of all exterior features of the track. This includes, but not limited to, fencing, bleachers, stands, turf football field (entire field), etc. 8. Install standard lane striping and event markings according to current NFHS standards. 9. Provide project insurance, Supervision, and Mobilization. 10. The contractor submitting the bid shall have a certified track builder on staff. 11. Provide Construction Surveying, Layout, and Staking 12. Provide track lane and event marking drawings for approval prior to construction. 13. Provide full clean-up of premises prior to vacating project. 14. Required permits/fees are the responsibility of Contractor. The District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any "informalities" in the proposals received whenever such selection, rejection or waiver is in its best interest. The District reserves the right to accept or reject all or part of the bid, to waive technicalities, and to accept the offer the District considers most advantageous. Bids will be evaluated based on the type of product or service offered, price of the product or service, qualifications of the bidder, experience of the bidder, and the District's past experience with the bidder. Bidders' experience and qualifications shall include the number of years the bidder has been in operation, the number of times the bidder has provided the product or service requested, the litigation history of the bidder, and the number of times the bidder has provided the product or service to the District or other public school districts.
