Site work and renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Plainfield, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center; and for site work for a clubhouse / community center.
Scope of Work for Emergency back up power installation. Refer to plans and specifications provided by BR Design & Architecture Inc. The work is to be performed in accordance with the proposed Contract Documents as prepared by BR Design & Architecture INC., 1 TransAm Plaza Drive #120 Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois 60181. Scope of Work for Emergency back up power installation. Bidders are required to provide Company information and provide reference of similar completed projects with their email request for the project documents. The bid requires compliance 24 CFR Part 85 (and 84) in which each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guarantee in the form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check or Bank Draft in an amount equal to not less than five percent (5%), of the bid and made payable to Plainfield Township, Plainfield, Will County, Illinois. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after the bids opening date without the consent of the Owner. Checks or drafts of unsuccessful bidders will be returned as soon as practical after opening and checking the bids. * Successful bidder must provide a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond in the full amount of the Contract, acceptable to the Owner. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.O. 11246. MBE/WBE: Women and Minority Owned Businesses are encouraged to submit proposal. All bidders are required to show verification of being in good standing with the System for Award Management online. The Contract shall be subject to the provisions of the Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1 et seq.) to the extent required by law as well as the Davis-Bacon Act. All rulings and interpretations of the Davis-Bacon and Related Acts contained in 29 CFR Parts 1, 3, and 5 are applicable. The Contract shall also be subject to the Build America, Buy America Act (BABA) that requires all iron and steel, construction materials, and manufactured products used in federally-funded infrastructure projects are produced in the United States This requirement, known as the "Buy America Preference" is detailed in 2 CFR 184. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any in-formalities in bidding.
