FY2026 Building Cleaning Services The scope ofwork for the Base Bid includes providing labor and equipment for the cleaning of Town buildings as specified.The term ofthis contract shall extend from July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026. The Town, at its sole direction, shall have the option toextend for one (1) additional year period, July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027, with no changes in the contract price or terms and conditions, and at its sole direction with mutual consent of the contractor, the option to extend for an additional one (1)year period, July 1, 2027 through June 30, 2028. The cleaning of the following buildings is included in this IFB:oEaston Town Offices, 136 Elm Street (Cleaning to be done 5 DAYS PER WEEK) o Department of Public Works, 130 CenterStreet (Cleaning to be done 5 DAYS PER WEEK) o Police Department, 46 Lothrop Street (Cleaning to be done 5 DAYS PERWEEK) o Frothingham Hall, 15 Barrows Street (Cleaning to be done 5 DAYS PER WEEK) o Water Division, 417 Bay Road(Cleaning to be done 3 DAYS PER WEEK) o Fire Station #3 Admin Area, 413 Bay Road (Cleaning to be done 1 DAY PER WEEK) Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid security consisting of a BID BOND,CASH, or, CERTIFIED CHECK issued by a responsible bank or trust company in the amount of 5% of the bid price.All bids for this project are subject to applicable public bidding laws of Massachusetts. The bidder agrees that its bid shall be good and may not be withdrawn for a period of 30 days,Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays excluded, after the opening of the bids.The Town reserves the right to waive any informalities, to accept or reject, in whole or in part any or all bids, or take whatever other action may be deemed to be in the best interest of the Town.
