Installation of lights, gates and grade crossing surface reconstruction at the City of Dayton grade crossings DOT #525850S (Gettysburg Avenue) & #525851Y (Little Richmond Road). Installation will include any ancillary work to make warning devices function as designed, MUTCD compliant, and visible to roadway user. The proposed signal system shall consist of: - Two cantilevered flashing lights & gates signals. - A 6'x6' bungalow set on 2' of crushed limestone fill with 3' wide walkways on all sides and 2' high by 20' long concrete block wall to retain fill. - Constant warning time track circuits with shunt enhancer. - Replace 4 insulated joints with four 40' 136RE rail sticks. - All buried cables and track wires are to be in conduit with pull boxes. - A 12' wide by 60 long bungalow driveway. - Remove existing signal equipment and 4 signal poles. - Remove all vegetation on railroad right of way within 200' of crossing. The scope of work is the reconstruction of the grade crossing surface. The proposed crossing and track work shall consist of: - Removal and disposal of the existing concrete panel railroad crossing and install a 105' HD concrete tub crossing on LSM. 134 The scope of work is the modernization of the existing flashers with the installation of a new grade crossing signal system at one (1) at-grade railroad crossing. The proposed signal system shall consist of: - Two flashing lights & gates signals. - A 6'x6' bungalow set on 3' of crushed limestone fill with 3' wide walkways on all sides and rip rap on field side of fill. - Constant warning time track circuits with shunt enhancer. - Replace 8 insulated joints with eight 40' 136RE rail sticks. - Install 1 set of poly bars. - All buried cables and track wires are to be in conduit with pull boxes. - A 12' wide by 40' long bungalow driveway. - Remove existing signal equipment and 1 signal pole. The scope of work is the reconstruction of the grade crossing surface, and renewal of the crossing approaches. The proposed crossing and track work shall consist of: - Removal and disposal of the existing timber & asphalt railroad crossing and install a 60' rubber flange and asphalting crossing. - Replace 60' of ballast on each side of the proposed crossing.
