Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Wildwood, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The project consists of cleaning all foreign materials and vegetation from potholes, gaps, and cracks from all existing asphalt surfaces located at the designated length of road @ Rockwood Reservation CA (See attached pics) Repair cracks with gaps greater than 1.25" in width with mechanically compacted commercial cold mix. Repair all potholes that are 3/4" and deeper with mechanically compacted commercial cold mix. Fill all seams and cracks that are open 3/16" and greater with hot rubber crack sealer. Contractor shall be responsible for proper disposal of all waste from project. Center Line Areas Fractured and eroded areas in center of road, will need The vertical edges of the open patch will be tack coated using CRS2 emulsion. New asphalt will then be placed at the above depth, rolled and compacted to a uniform consistency in the milled areas. The finished elevation of the new asphalt will match the adjacent pavement surface. All vegetation and loose debris to be removed before installation of asphalt to fill in potholes along the road. All new asphalt material will be Department of Transportation approved and will be County C Mix unless otherwise specified. Approx. 444.00 Sq Yards Crack Repair and Sealing Cracks to be prepared by cleaning debris and grass from all of the 1/4" to 1 1/2 " transverse and lateral pavement cracks Seal all of the cracks with a hot-pour pavement crack and joint sealant that meets ASTM Specification 3405. Cracks that are 'alligatored', 'spider cracked' pavement will not be required to repair. Approx. 2,600.00 Linear Feet Stripe X2 Double Lines Down the Center of Road Stripe 4" double yellow stripe approx. 5,200 Linear Feet in center of the road. * Contractor is responsible for verification of work to be performed on-site, keeping at minimum one lane of traffic open, one half of parking lots open, and traffic control safety throughout the project. * The contractor shall maintain safe public access to the facility for the duration of the project. *Actual footage, and onsite measurements is the Contractor's responsibility Chapter 8 - Public Works Construction Projects $25,000 to $50,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
