Renovation and addition to a fitness / recreation center in Le Claire, Iowa. Completed plans call for the addition of a fitness / recreation center; and for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center.
The Project consists of the construction of a partially new and partial renovation of a 43,000 sf YMCA facility. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof at its sole discretion. The Owner reserves the right to waive any or all irregularities or informalities. Accompany bids with a Bid Bond, Certified Check or Bank Draft on an amount of 5 Percent of the Base Bid as a guarantee that, if award is made, the bidder will sign the agreement and furnish the required bonds within ten days or forfeit his bid security as liquidated damages, but not as a penalty. Execute Bid Bond on A.I.A. Form A-310, current edition or on form furnished by the Architect. Provide a Performance and Labor and Material/Payment bond, per the terms of the General Conditions, as modified. 1. Provide a 100 percent Performance Bond on AIA A312. 2. Provide a 100 percent Payment Bond on AIA 312. 3. Deliver bonds within 3 days after execution of the Contract. Anticipated Start of Construction: August 15, 2025 Substantial Completion: November 1, 2026 All bidder questions and substitution requests should be in no later than 5:00 pm prevailing time on Monday, June 2, 2025.
