Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Le Claire, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The work to be done includes approximately 122.8squareyardsofPCCpanelremoval, 122.8square yardsof8"PCCpatchingwith integral curbandgutter,8" subbase, and seeding / fertilizing are required including miscellaneous associated work including cleanup. The Contractor submitting the successful quotation will be required to furnish bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, said bond to be issued by a responsible surety approved by the City Council and shall guarantee the faithful performance of the contract and the terms and conditions therein contained and shall guarantee the prompt payment for all materials and labor and protect and save harmless the City from claims and damages of any kind caused by the operations of the Contractor, and shall guarantee the work against faulty workmanship and materials for a period of two (2) years after its completion and acceptance by the City Council. The work will commence within ten (10) days after written Notice to Proceed and shall be completed by September 30, 2025. Liquidated damages in the amount of Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) per calendar day after September 30, 2025, until the date the project is finished.
