2025 HVAC Replacement Rockville Centre Public Library Contract #1- HVAC Reconstruction Location- 221 North Village Avenue Rockville Centre, New York 11570 In accordance with Article 3(A)(3) of General Conditions, provide, maintain and remove, when no longer required, temporary services and utilities as specified, except as may be otherwise provided by the Owner. Include costs of obtaining permits, labor, equipment, fixtures, lamps and similar items, as well as duties, levies or taxes imposed. The bid deposit for hard copies shall be refunded to each Bidder only if the plans and specifications are returned in good condition, with no handwritten notations thereon within thirty (30) days following the award of the contract or the rejection of the bid of such person or corporation. Unsuccessful bidders who request more than one (1) set of the plans and specifications will be partially reimbursed for extra sets in accordance with General Municipal Law 102 if returned in good condition, with no handwritten notations thereon, within thirty (30) days following the award or rejection of the bids. Any person or corporation who fails to submit a bid will receive the return of a single deposit less reproduction costs if returned in good condition, with no handwritten notations thereon, within thirty (30) days following the award of the contract or rejection of the bids. Each Bidder must deposit, with their sealed bid, security in an amount not less than 10% of the base bid and all Alternate Bids in the proper form subject to the conditions set forth in the Instructions to Bidders (Section 8).All certified checks or bid bonds must be paid to ROCKVILLE CENTRE PUBLIC LIBRARY. Attention of the Bidders is specifically directed to the prevailing wage rates to be paid under the contract, as well as to other provisions set forth in the bidding documents. Bidder will also be required to show, to the satisfaction of the ROCKVILLE CENTRE PUBLIC LIBRARY that they are carrying Workers' Compensation Insurance as required by law and all other Insurance in amounts not less than that specified under the General Conditions. Performance Bonds Labor/Material Bonds and Maintenance Bond, as called for in the General Conditions are a requirement of each contract. The ROCKVILLE CENTRE PUBLIC LIBRARY reserves the right to reject any or all bids submitted, to waive any informality or irregularity in any bid, and/ or to accept any bid in whole or in part and/ or to award or not award the contract, if in the opinion of the ROCKVILLE CENTRE PUBLIC LIBRARY, the best interest of the LIBRARY will thereby be served.
