The work to be performed shall consist offurnishing all transportation, materials, labor, services, supplies and equipment necessary to construct, and complete the BEACH DRIVE NE WATER MAIN CREEK CROSSING project. The Engineer's opinion of probable construction cost is $950,000.00 to $1,250,000.00 for the work specified in this project. The work shall be performed within the time limit(s) stated, in the Proposal. The work generally consists of the following: The project includes installation of approximately 600 lineal feet of 8-in.ch, 6-inch and 4- inch Ductile Iron (DI), water main, 535 lineal feet of 1.0-inch HOPE water main installed via horizontal. direction drilling (HDD) under McAleer Creek, connections to the existing system, valves, reestablishing existing services, trenching and backfilling operations, appurtenances, storm sewer sys-tem replacements, HMA patching, planing and overlay and associated work. This work is 'within the City of Lake Forest Park existing Right of Way in Beach Dr NE between 45th Ave NE and the Burke Gilman Trail. A bid security for not less than five (5) percent of the total bid dollar amount is required to be submitted with each proposal (bid.) and included in the sealed bid envelope. The certified check, cashier's check or bid bond shall be payable to North City Water District. The Bidder to whom award is made will be required to furnish the necessary additional bonds for the faithful performance of the Contract, as prescribed in the Contract Documents. The attention of Bidders is directed to the applicable state requirements and conditions of employment including small, minority and women business enterprises participation to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the Contract The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informalities in the bidding and select whichever bids they determine to be the best value to the Owner for the Contract. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
