The term "Work" means the construction and services required by the Contract Documents, whether completed or partially completed, and includes all other labor, materials, equipment, and services provided or to be provided by the Contractor to fulfill the Contractor's obligations. Specialty Work (L&M) Bid Package "1": CONCRETE [BONDED] (L&M) Includes, but not limited to: 1. Furnish all required surveying and layout for this scope of work from property corners and benchmark elevations established by the construction manager. 2. Multiple mobilizations will be necessary to complete scope of work. 3. Excavation / backfilling as necessary to complete this scope of work. 4. Furnish and install all required concrete reinforcing steel, concrete accessories, concrete material, rigid foundation insulation, formwork, curing compounds/processes, and concrete finishes to install all building foundation systems, including the installation of all embeds (furnished by others) in concrete. 5. Furnish and install all required concrete reinforcing steel, concrete accessories, concrete material, rigid foundation insulation, formwork, curing compounds/processes, and concrete finishes to install building slab-on grade, and elevated concrete slabs. 6. Removal / disposal of all excess spoils from your scope of work. 7. Furnish / install granular or aggregate base subgrade as outlined in plans / specs underneath all concrete work. 8. Furnish / install vapor barrier underneath slab-on-grade. 9. Furnish and application of weather protection methods as required by the contract documents. 10. Curing of the slab-on-grade as indicated in the plans / specs. 11. Furnish all concrete pumping services and/or concrete conveying equipment as required to complete this scope of work. 12. Clean up and removal of all excess concrete materials, spillage, and waste within 5 days of concrete pours. 13. Furnish all required cold and hot concrete admixtures to complete this scope of work during cold and hot temperature concrete placements. 14. Furnish and install all non-shrink grout at embeds and columns as indicated. 15. Form all concrete slab leave-outs at locations indicated on the plans. Pour back leave outs after placement of steel / non-shrink grout. 16. Furnish and install all equipment pads, housekeeping pads, mechanical pads, transformer pads, and light pole bases that may be required by other bid packages, including reinforcement. 17. Furnish and install all concrete saw joints, construction joints, and keyways. 18. Furnish and install all sidewalks, including required excavation. 19. Furnish and install all expansion joints in the sidewalks and site paving as required by the plans/specs. 20. Furnish and install all concrete stair treads. 21. Furnish and install all site concrete paving, including granular base below concrete paving / curb / gutters 22. Furnish and install all concrete curb and gutter. 23. Furnish and install all concrete wheel stops. 24. Coordination and cooperation with mechanical, electrical, fire protection, and other contractors for the installation of their work. 25. Furnish and install all elevated slabs. 26. Include demolition of existing sidewalks, curb and gutter, and paving as needed for new construction. 27. Install new concrete floor slab at existing stairwell (decking by others) 28. Includes all excavation required to install concrete footings. 29. Type V or Type (HS) cement to be used for foundations. Bid Package "2": MASONRY [BONDED] (L&M) 1. Furnish all required surveying and layout for this scope of work from property corners and benchmark elevations established by the construction manager. 2. Layout of masonry walls from control points furnished by construction manager. 3. Furnish and install all CMU, brick veneer, stone veneer, and cast stone materials. 4. Installation of all loose lintels and embeds (furnished by others). 5. Layout/drill/epoxy of all dowels. 6. Furnish and install all indicated reinforcing steel and grout in masonry walls. 7. Installation of all expansion joints in masonry walls. 8. Furnish and install all required flashing systems and indicated. 9. Furnish and install all masonry accessories to complete this scope of work. 10. Final cleaning of all masonry. 11. Coordination and cooperation with mechanical, electrical, fire protection, and other contractors for the installation of their work. 12. Furnish and install all water repellents applied to masonry surfaces as indicated in the specifications. 13. Furnish and install insulation and Fluid Applied Weather Barrier on Masonry Bid Package "3": STRUCTURAL STEEL FABRICATIONS (M) Includes, but not limited to: 1. Furnish all structural steel, steel joist framing, steel bracing, metal decking, metal fabrications, and pipe and tube railings indicated in the contract documents. 2. Furnish all anchor bolts, complete with drawings, 3. Furnish all indicated CMU bracing, bent plate for masonry, embeds, and loose lintels. 4. Furnish all metal stairs and steel handrails. 5. Furnish all required loose anchors, materials, and epoxy to fasten structural steel elements. 6. Furnish edge angle, metal decking, and anchors for slab infill (ref S3.0) 7. Furnish new guardrail at existing stiar (ref 35/D102) Bid Package "4": STRUCTURAL STEEL ERECTION [BONDED] (L) 1. Installation of all structural steel, steel joist framing, steel bracing, metal decking, metal fabrications, and pipe and tube railings indicated in the contract documents. 2. Installation of all CMU bracing, stairs, handrails, lintels, bent plates, pour stops, steel framing for skylights, and HVAC equipment support framing. 3. Installation of all items provided in Bid Package "3" 4. Receiving and unloading of all structural steel items in bid package "3" 5. All crane services, and OSHA approved hoisting and crane equipment 6. Installation of all composite and acoustical metal decking. 7. Installation of all headed stud anchors per the plans and specifications. 8. Installation of all metal stairs and handrails provided in bid package "3" 9. Installation / reinforcement of existing structure (slab infill, ref S3.0) 10. Installation of handrail at existing stair (ref 35/D102) Bid Package "5": GENERAL TRADES [BONDED] (L&M) 10. Labor to install Toilet Partitions 11. Labor to install Fire Extinguishers and Cabinets 12. Labor to install Miscellaneous Specialties (provided in Bid Package "19") 13. Wood blocking required to accommodate other trades & these items. 14. Furnish and install Access Doors and Panels 15. Furnish and install all indicated prefinished standing seam roof panels, flashing, copings, expansion joint materials, wall caps, soffit panels, fascia, gutters, downspouts, and trim. 16. Furnish and install all indicated roof accessories 17. Furnish and install all indicated rigid insulation and coverboard 18. Furnish and install all wood blocking, plywood, bracing, backing, flexible flashing, and fasteners that contacts any roofing material. 19. Furnish and install all roof expansion joints indicated 20. Furnish and install all expansion joint / sealing systems on the roof 21. Furnish and install all joint sealants in cmu masonry, brick veneer, concrete paving, concrete curb/gutter and sidewalks. 22. Removal of plastic caps at all expansion joint materials. 23. Complete all remaining interior demo, including saw cutting (etc.) Excludes: 1. Installation of door hardware in Aluminum Doors and Frames. 2. Joint sealants at aluminum framed entrances, windows, curtainwalls, and storefronts.
