The work to be completed under this contract consists of all labor, equipment and materials necessary to complete various stormwater management maintenance projects at seven (7) locations in Warminster Township: Centennial Road, Laurel Avenue, Manor Drive, Arbor Lane, Lavera Road, Kemper Drive and Acorn Drive. The stormwater work generally includes the following: replacement of 3'x12' and 3'x16' box culverts, replacement of a 42" diameter Smooth Lined Corrugated Plastic Pipe (167 linear foot and 200 linear foot) and a 72" diameter Smooth Lined Corrugated Plastic Pipe (163 linear foot), streambank restoration, installation of concrete wing walls, a concrete endwall, a manhole, inlets and cofferdams, and the relocation of a shed. Construction will occur in Township easements and rights-of-way and will involve roadway, sidewalk, curb, riparian buffer and lawn restoration. The work shall be substantially completed no later than August 15, 2025 and completed and ready for final payment not later than August 29, 2025. This project is subject to the applicable provisions of Act 422, Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, as amended, and the prevailing minimum wage rates issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry for work valued at over $25,000. If the Contract Price exceeds $175,000.00, the project is also subject to the Authority's Responsible Contractor Resolution, as amended. All bids shall remain subject to acceptance for 60 days after the Bid Opening or for such period of time that Bidder may agree to in writing upon request. Bids may be withdrawn within two (2) business days after the opening of Bids only by the withdrawing Bidder's strict compliance with 73 P.S. 1602 and any subsequent amendments. The Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids for any cause whatsoever, to eliminate any item or items from the contract, and to waive any informality in the bids.
