Demolition and site work for a mixed-use development in Iowa City, Iowa. Completed plans call for the demolition of a parking garage; for site work for a parking garage; medical facility; and medical facility.
The project consists of the demolition of HPR1 located at Parking Ramp 1, Iowa City, IA 52242 and the WJSHC, 250 Hawkins Drive, Iowa City, IA 52242. Scopes of work include complete building demolition, elevator decommissioning, electrical disconnect and make safe, and mechanical/plumbing disconnect and make safe work. Demolition is scheduled to begin in the fall of 2025 with substantial completion scheduled for the spring of 2026. Statement of Qualifications Criteria will be based on the following: o Firm's Experience as a Contractor o Capacity of Key Personnel o Technical Competence o Capability to Perform o Past Performance of the Firm o Past Performance of the Firm's Employees o Firm's Safety Record and Compliance with State and Federal Laws o Availability To and Familiarity With the Location of the Project All questions regarding the Statement of Qualifications are due before 3:00 P.M. on June 2, 2025.
