**As of August 21, 2025, the project was awarded to JMHC, Inc., with an awarded amount of $1,832,536.12.** Project: 6179-24/TAD - Wekiva Springs Road Intersection Improvements FPN 450920-1-54-01 Scope of Work: Seminole County Public Works Department is seeking the services of a State of Florida licensed and qualified contractor to construct minor roadway improvements along Wekiva Springs Road. The scope of the project includes the addition of a 350-foot right-turn deceleration lane at the Sabal Palm Elementary School Driveway and new mast arm traffic signals at the intersection of Wekiva Springs Road and Sabal Point Drive. The project includes roadway paving, earthwork, concrete sidewalk, minor drainage improvements, gravity wall, signing & pavement markings, signalization, fiber optic communications, maintenance of traffic, and utility coordination. The project time shall be 300 calendar days to substantial completion and another 30 calendar days to final completion for a total project time of 330 calendar days. This project shall also conform to FDOT Standard Specification II and III. The Contractor shall begin and complete the work that impacts the school drive isle including the gravity wall and school driveway during periods when school is not in session from May 27, 2026 to August 10, 2026. The Contractor shall coordinate this work with the County and the School Board prior to construction. The Contractor shall minimize impact to the school operations during all phases of construction. CONTRACTOR shall furnish a Performance Bond, a Payment Bond and a Material and Workmanship Bond, each with good and sufficient surety.
