The proposed well project is located at the existing Buena Vista Water Well Site on Tippah County Road 701 in Tippah County, MS. The work shall consist of: Furnish and Installation of new 350 GPM Water Well and Abandonment of Old Water Well and Structures. Each bid submitted must be in a sealed envelope addressed to the City of Ripley and clearly marked on the outside "Bid for: 2024 WATER SYTEM IMPROVEMENTS, CONTRACT 'B' - NEW BUENA VISTA WATER WELL & EXISTING WELL ABANDONMENT for the CITY OF RIPLEY". Any bid in excess of $50,000 must contain on the outside of the envelope the contractor's current certificate of responsibility number, and no bid shall be opened or considered unless this number appears on the outside of the envelope or unless a statement is included on the outside of the envelope indicating that the bid enclosed does not exceed $50,000. When bidders choose to submit bids electronically, the requirement for including a certificate of responsibility, or a statement that the bid enclosed does not exceed Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00), on the exterior of the bid envelope shall be deemed in compliance by including the same information as an attachment with the electronic bid submittal. The Bidder is fully responsible for the on-time delivery of bids regardless of bid submittal method chosen.
